I am honored to greet you as the new Executive Director of Lakes Crisis & Resource Center. I’ve been fortunate to have served LCRC in several capacities since 2005 when I joined its Board of Directors. I enjoyed my time on the Board and grew to appreciate the services provided and developed a real passion for the mission in my six years of service on it.
Because of that passion and belief in the cause, I elected to take a leap of faith to combine my passion with my profession and left my management position in the for-profit sector. I was willing to serve in whatever position was available and started my LCRC career by utilizing my psychology degree as a parent coach in the parenting time center. Since then, I have served as program director for Positive Connections, Development Director, and most recently as Assistant Director which I held for over three years.
It has been incredibly rewarding to have been a part of the growth of the agency including additions to programming and services, while also enhancing the strong foundational services that have been LCRC’s core since its inception in 1978. The staff at LCRC remain some of the strongest, most dedicated, skilled, and hard-working staff I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside. I am privileged to lead and support them all as we continue to work every day to accomplish our mission.
We could not do it without the support of the community who we are responsible to serve. I thank you for your interest and support in the work we do. My intention is to continue to lead our agency with the highest standards to uphold and honor the work that has been done by those who came before me. We will continue to grow and evolve, to meet the needs of the community, and ensure LCRC continues to be a solid community resource for generations to come.
